The collaboration enhances data transfer performance using Intel’s integrated GPU and Neural Processing Unit (NPU), providing OEM partners with a comprehensive, out-of-the-box solution to deliver secure, offline data-sharing capabilities directly on their devices.
Notebooks with Intel® Core™ Ultra processors are equipped with advanced GPUs and NPUs, providing the hardware acceleration needed for high-speed data transfer while conserving power. The fully offline nature of LiveDrop’s protocol means no network connections or RF signals are required, ensuring a secure, interference-free experience that’s ideal for areas where regular communication protocols are not available or not wanted and in high-security environments.
This technology is cross-platform and cross-device simplifying file transfers for end users between Windows, iOS and Android and offering a versatile feature that OEMs can implement seamlessly.
Optimized specifically for Intel® Core™ Ultra processors, LiveDrop’s protocol offers OEMs a robust solution for integrating secure, offline data transfers. In addition to the OEM-focused enhancements, LiveDrop introduced recently an SDK for third-party developers, enabling them to incorporate this solution into their own applications, creating a wider ecosystem of offline, secure data solutions.
