Automation XL, the UK-based engineering corporation were recognised by their peers for outstanding sales performance, technical expertise and high-quality specialist support, at this year’s Starline Rep Conference in Miami, USA.
One of the Group’s key partners, Starline, a brand of LeGrand Data Centre Solutions, has been developing and manufacturing a wide range of electrical power distribution equipment since 1924.
The company formed an association with XL Global Group, whose Automation XL Power and Distribution team recently supplied, installed and commissioned a number of critical power services and data centre projects across Europe.
JP Burger, Business Unit Director at Le Grand Data Centre solutions was tasked with job of the identifying suitable partners: “From our early discussions with XL Group, we were impressed with the breadth of knowledge and experience which they could provide.
“Initially we were looking to appoint a technical sales representative, for which XL Group were well positioned, however during discussions, we recognised that the partnership had the potential to offer a much more holistic offering to our customers.”
With the accelerating growth in digital infrastructure, data centres and AI, the demand for flexible and reliable power systems can be argued to be one of the most critical foundations of future Economic growth, says XL Global Group.
In recent times the Automation XL Field Services team mobilised to a number of sites across the UK, France and the Netherlands on behalf of Starline, and completed the supply and installation of a 250A “On-Prem” Data Hall, while working on the company’s behalf to provide start up and commissioning services.
